For 20 years, Asset Management Services has been raising assets for a wide variety of alternative and specialty investment managers. Our preference is to find high quality investment teams that are effectively managing unique strategies and increase the assets available to them. Generally the managers we represent are in the early stages of gathering assets for their funds from North America institutions.
As independent third party marketers, we have the resources and experience to assist an investment team in growing their business such as these recent following examples:
 
  • Grow a Long/Short hedge fund from $25 million to $500 million
  • Drive the process of forming and raising a $500 million private equity second fund investing in Global Infrastructure
  • Advise a regional equity emerging markets manager on product creation and marketing strategy to fit the needs of the North American market. Create the parameters for a new product structure and then raise the targeted assets
  • Market an existing event driven hedge fund with current AUM of $200 million and carve out a new offering to address the turnaround opportunities in the credit markets
  • Joint venture with other third party marketers for product positioning and distribution

 

So far we have placed over $6 billion from institutional and family office investors throughout North America and some offshore assets.

We work as exclusive marketing representatives for our manager clients offering their services to institutional investors. We are registered reps with the broker dealer First American Municipal.
